Surrounded by a mountain range and two Indian reservations, we have a distinctly small-town feeling. Residents love the fact that Scottsdale's bright lights are only 15 minutes away, but Scottsdale's construction, traffic, and manic pace don't follow them back over the mountain. There may not be tons of city entertainment, or crime, but there is plenty of golf and natural beauty.
This is not cookie-cutter real estate country. Seventy-five percent of the homes are custom-built. Lots are big and streets are wide. Open space abounds and the washes behind many homes give that just-right feeling.
The Fountain Hills School District has earned a reputation for excellent academic programs and athletic awards. It is a small district with high levels of parent and community involvement. All four of Fountain Hills schools have an Arizona rating of "EXCELLING". It's where you want to be.
The Fort McDowell Casino is just two minutes away. There are five golf courses to choose from and a private tennis club and spa. Saguaro Lake, with it's soaring cliffs, is just 15 minutes from this charming town. Be sure to check out Fountain Hills!
